About the Company

Industri-Teknik Bengt Fridh AB, based in Arlöv, was founded in 1969 and is part of the INIVI Group. The company specializes in various types of combustion equipment for heating, drying, destruction, preheating, etc., for Nordic and international industrial customers. The company has a design department and workshops for mechanical, electrical control and regulation technology, as well as ceramic manufacturing. With extensive experience and strong relationships with both Swedish and international customers, they have built a unique competence in burner technology and safety processes. Currently, the company consists of about 20 employees and is now facing an exciting growth journey. Almost all production takes place in their own facilities, from the initial idea sketch to testing before delivery.

About the Position

As a service technician at Industri-Teknik Bengt Fridh AB, you will be an important part of an experienced team where you will work with troubleshooting, service, and installation within industrial heating and combustion systems. The service includes both gas and oil installations, mounted on combustion plants, steam boilers, air heaters, and afterburners. The position requires a few years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or other relevant backgrounds. Additionally, it is important to have the ability to structure, prioritize, and adhere to safety regulations with great precision. Your main tasks will include:

- Performing service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of burner systems and related components, focusing on both electrical and mechanical parts, as well as oil installations, combustion plants, steam boilers, and air heaters.

- Carrying out installation and commissioning work at facilities, including cabling, assembly work, and safety settings according to precise routines.

- Planning and conducting visits to customers, primarily within Sweden, but international travel may also occur.

- Participating in on-call activities according to a rotating schedule to ensure quick support for customers experiencing downtime.

- Documenting completed work for invoicing and quality follow-up.

- Working closely with the production team and participating in training to continuously build your technical competence.

About You
To fit into the role, we primarily see that you have a genuine technical interest, preferably topped with an understanding and curiosity for electronics and mechanics, as well as a drive to broaden your competence in these areas. You have some form of electrician background, preferably in combination with installation or automation experience, and are comfortable with mechanical work. Previous experience as a service technician, electrician, or similar is an advantage.

The following are requirements for the position:

- Experience in service and maintenance work within the industry, preferably in electrical, mechanical, or automation.

- Good understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

- High school level in Swedish and English, as the role requires both technical documentation and customer dialogue in both languages.

- Driver's license B, as well as flexibility to travel and work in various locations in Sweden.

- A problem-solving and independent attitude, with a good ability to handle both urgent and planned service matters.

Extent: Full-time

Travel occurs with 50-80 travel days per year.
